Roavo — Terms of Service

1. About Roavo

Roavo is a travel platform that helps users discover and book travel-related services, including:

• Hotels and homestays
• Travel accommodations
• Adventure activities
• Trekking and outdoor experiences
• Rafting
• Paragliding
• Other travel experiences and services

Roavo may act as a technology and booking platform connecting travelers with independent hotels, homestays, activity providers, and other travel-service partners (“Partners”). Unless specifically stated otherwise, Roavo does not itself own or operate the accommodation or adventure services listed on the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must provide accurate information when using Roavo.

By using the Platform, you confirm that:

• You are legally capable of entering into an agreement.
• The information you provide is accurate and up to date.
• You will use the Platform only for lawful purposes.
• You will not misuse or attempt to disrupt the Platform.

Where a booking or activity has age restrictions, identification requirements, or other eligibility conditions, you must comply with those requirements.

3. Account

Certain Roavo services may require you to create an account.

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials confidential.
• Providing accurate account information.
• All activity performed through your account.
• Informing Roavo if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

Roavo may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are involved in fraudulent or abusive activity.

4. Bookings

When you make a booking through Roavo, you agree to provide accurate information, including your name, contact details, travel dates, number of guests, and other information required for the booking.

A booking is considered confirmed only after the Platform or relevant Partner provides confirmation.

Availability, prices, facilities, check-in/check-out times, activity schedules, and other booking details may be provided by the relevant Partner and may change from time to time.

5. Prices and Payments

Prices displayed on Roavo may include or exclude applicable taxes, fees, or other charges. The final amount payable will be shown before confirmation wherever applicable.

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.

Roavo does not store or directly handle your complete payment-card information unless expressly stated otherwise.

You agree not to use fraudulent payment methods or attempt unauthorized transactions.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies may vary depending on the Partner, accommodation, activity, booking type, and selected rate.

Before completing a booking, users should review the applicable cancellation and refund conditions.

Where a refund is approved, the applicable amount may be returned through the original payment method or another method determined by Roavo or the payment provider.

Roavo may charge applicable cancellation or processing fees where clearly disclosed during booking.

7. Hotels and Homestays

Accommodation services listed on Roavo are provided by independent Partners.

Roavo does not guarantee that every property will meet a particular standard beyond the information and policies displayed on the Platform.

The Partner is responsible for:

• Providing the booked accommodation.
• Maintaining the property.
• Providing the facilities described in the listing.
• Following applicable laws and regulations.
• Handling check-in and check-out.

Users are responsible for following the property's rules and regulations.

8. Adventure Activities

Adventure activities may involve inherent risks.

Activities such as trekking, rafting, paragliding, camping, and other outdoor experiences may be affected by:

• Weather conditions
• Safety conditions
• Government restrictions
• Natural events
• Equipment availability
• Health or fitness requirements
• Decisions of the activity operator

The relevant activity Partner is responsible for conducting the activity according to applicable safety requirements. Users must follow all instructions provided by the Partner or activity instructor. Roavo may cancel, modify, or reschedule an activity where reasonably necessary for safety, weather, operational, or other legitimate reasons.

9. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will not:

• Provide false or misleading information.
• Create fraudulent bookings.
• Use another person's account without authorization.
• Attempt to manipulate prices or availability.
• Damage accommodation or activity-provider property.
• Use Roavo for illegal activities.
• Upload harmful software or malicious code.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Roavo's systems.
• Scrape, copy, or commercially exploit Platform content without permission.

10. Partner Responsibilities

Partners using Roavo are responsible for ensuring that their listings are accurate and up to date.

Partners must provide services substantially consistent with their listing and booking confirmation and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

Roavo may remove, suspend, or restrict a Partner listing if we reasonably believe that it violates our policies, these Terms, applicable law, or creates a risk to users.

11. Reviews and User Content

Users may be permitted to submit reviews, photographs, ratings, comments, or other content.

You agree that your submissions:

• Are truthful and based on your genuine experience.
• Do not contain illegal, abusive, threatening, defamatory, or misleading material.
• Do not violate another person's intellectual-property or privacy rights.

By submitting content to Roavo, you grant Roavo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform. Roavo may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable policies.

12. Third-Party Services

Roavo may contain links, integrations, or services provided by third parties, including payment providers, maps, communication services, accommodation providers, and activity operators.

Roavo is not responsible for the independent policies, availability, security, or performance of third-party services.

Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

13. Intellectual Property

The Roavo name, logo, “R” symbol, website design, software, text, graphics, images, and other original materials provided by Roavo are owned by or licensed to Roavo and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit Roavo's intellectual property without prior written permission.

14. Platform Availability

We aim to keep Roavo available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the Platform will always be:

• Available without interruption.
• Free from errors.
• Completely secure.
• Free from bugs or technical issues.

Roavo may temporarily suspend or modify the Platform for maintenance, upgrades, security, or other operational reasons.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Roavo will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or unforeseeable losses arising from your use of the Platform or services provided by independent Partners.

Roavo is primarily a technology and booking platform and, unless expressly stated otherwise, is not the direct provider of accommodation or adventure activities.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Roavo, its owners, employees, representatives, and affiliates harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your misuse of the Platform.
• Your violation of applicable law.
• Damage caused by you to a Partner's property.
• Your infringement of another person's rights.

17. Changes to These Terms

Roavo may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be published on the Platform with a revised “Last Updated” date.

Your continued use of Roavo after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

18. Termination

Roavo may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you:

• Violate these Terms.
• Engage in fraudulent activity.
• Misuse the Platform.
• Create a security or legal risk.
• Violate applicable law.

Termination does not automatically cancel existing bookings unless specifically stated by Roavo or the relevant Partner.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in India.

Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Roavo shall be subject to the applicable courts and dispute-resolution mechanisms specified by Roavo, subject to applicable law.
